Music Row Confidential

Sheri Lynn & Brenda Kay (AKA the Jugg Sisters) from the famed NashTrash Tours are proud to announce their new Music Row Confidential tour featuring the ‘DUDDSS’ (Drastically Underpaid Dude and Dudette Singer-Songwriters) Dana McVicker and Marc-Alan Barnette.

The Big Pink BusWhat do you get when you toss in a BIG PINK BUS, two well-known Nashville singer/songwriter veterans, and a drive around downtown and the Music Row areas for a backstage look at the music business?

A cross between a history class and a NASCAR Tractor pull!

Then hilarity ensues…

Starring award winning recording artist Dana McVicker, and long-time singer/songwriter/teacher, Marc-Alan Barnette, Music Row Confidential is a 90-minute look at the Music Industry’s ups, downs, sideways and every other position imaginable.

“It’s one third music, one third history lesson, and one third TOTAL INSANITY!” says Barnette, a 25 year veteran of the “Nashville trenches” with songs recorded by Grammy Award Winner Shelby Lynne, country legend John Berry, and writer of David Ball’s “Too Much Blood in my Alcohol Level.” McVicker, 1988’s CMA Horizon Award Nominee, and long-time artist and demo singer, has had songs recorded by Reba McEntire and others and has sung on every Travis Tritt record ever done. These guys know their stuff. They are PART of the history they portray.

The duo guides you around the Music Row area with stops, songs, celebrity sightings, constant audience interaction, writing songs off the cuff, all with their unique brand of country and comedy. They’ll take you to downtown spots like the Ryman and Tootsie’s, hearing the stories and songs behind the hits then proceed up to the Music Row area and point out historical points of view and “backstage tidbits” about Sony, Warner Brothers, Curb and pretty much every other place on The Row, and tell the stories that made Nashville THE Music City.

Their unique performing and songwriting styles also provide a real look at what it’s like in the music business and offers information for prospective artist and writer wanna-be’s, so this can be a great educational tour for those hopeful “stars of tomorrow.” “We can save people a TON of money and time as well,” says Barnette.
